Iowa Gas Prices Up Slightly to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Iowa gas prices are up to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.22, up from $3.17 at this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, with average prices for a gallon of regular unleaded including:

  • Des Moines: $3.25
  • Ames: $3.27
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.22
  • Iowa City: $3.27
  • Davenport: $3.19
  • Moline/Rock Island, IL: $3.50
  • Sioux City: $3.18
  • Council Bluffs: $3.15

At this time last year, the statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $3.91.
