(Iowa) -- A national financial website ranks Iowa in the middle of the best states in the U.S. to start a small business.
Lendio's recent national survey ranks Iowa the 28th best state in the country for small businesses. The survey shows over 53% percent of small business startups in Iowa last at least five years. It also shows Iowa is attracting college educated workers.
According to the survey, the top 10 best states in the nation for small businesses include:
- Texas
- Florida
- Ohio
- Massachusetts
- North Carolina
- Colorado
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- Georgia
- Utah
