Teens Could Drive Up To 50 Miles To Work On Driver's Permit

(Des Moines, IA) -- Proposed changes to school permits would let teenagers drive up to 50 miles away from home or school for work or extracurricular activities.

The Iowa Senate passed the bill yesterday, which would also let kids living within a mile from school get a school permit.
