(Marshalltown, IA) -- A murder in Marshalltown that was uncovered Friday is now one step closer to being solved with the arrest of a suspect.
Marshalltown Police and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation are investigating what they say are suspicious circumstances in the death of 27-year-old Isaiah Montell Forest of Marshalltown, according a press release.
Police initially responded after a call and found the victim was injured and not breathing.
On Sunday, local police announced the arrest of 20-year-old Amarrion Isom.
He's been charged with first-degree murder and also faces charges for an unrelated robbery earlier in the month.
