(Undated) -- Nebraska is one of the best states in the country for doctors. A new study from WalletHub says Nebraska is the 8th best state to practice medicine. WalletHub says it uses 19 key metrics for its rankings. Omaha has the cheapest annual malpractice liability insurance, ranks 2nd for medical environment, and ranks 10th for opportunity and competition. WalletHub says the best state to practice medicine is Montana and the worst is Hawaii. A full list of states is available here.
