Metro Omaha School Board Okays Stipends

The Millard Public School Board supports a plan to help with staff retention for the upcoming school year.

The board okays 12-hundred dollar stipends for full time employees starting in the next school year.

The money will be paid out in two installments at the beginning and at the end of the 2023 - 2024 school year.

The district says the money is already in the budget to pay for openings that are currently not filled.
