'Sweet 16' Day For Creighton Bluejays

Creighton is back in the "Sweet 16" for the second time in the last three years, as the sixth-seed Bluejays take on 15-seed Princeton tonight in the South Region in Louisville.

Tip off is about 30 minutes after Alabama faces San Diego State in the first semi, roughly around 8 p.m. Central.

The game can be seen on TBS;

The Ivy League Tigers are 23-8, while the Bluejays out of the Big East are 23-12.

Creighton is 1-0 all-time against Princeton, defeating the Tigers 63-54 in Omaha on Dec. 29th, 1961 in a game that featured legendary Bluejay Forward Paul Silas on a team coached by another Creighton legend, John "Red" McManus.
