(Des Moines, IA) -- The DSM Book Festival takes place at Capital Square in Downtown Des Moines on Saturday. Amelia Klatt with the Greater Des Moines Partnership says events like the festival define Des Moines as a place to live and work.
"It's something fun to do on a Saturday," Klatt said. "There's definitely a lot to do for all ages."
The DSM Book Festival will feature book discussions from several nationally known authors and three different workshop rooms, with one designated specifically for writers. Klatt says over 30 local authors will also be present to sell books.
The free event starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. Saturday.
