(Sheldon, IA) -- There's new information about a northwest Iowa homicide case. Investigators say 62-year-old Jody Lynn Duskin was found dead in her Sheldon home (604 45th Avenue, Sheldon) last Thursday, March 23rd. Her death was ruled a homicide on Saturday, March 25th by the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
Duskin's son, 42-year-old Nathaniel Kassel of Rock Rapids, Iowa is in custody in Brookings, South Dakota in connection with Duskin's death. Kassel is facing charges of First Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
