(Omaha, NE) -- The National Weather Service is holding storm spotter training classes in eastern Nebraska this week. The first class is being held today at 7:00 p.m. in Snyder. Others take place Tuesday in Omaha and Saturday in Lincoln. The Weather Service says the classes are taught by meteorologists, last about 90 minutes, and teach participants about how to identify severe storms. More information is available here.
