(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids Community School District's new superintendent is starting early.
Dr. Tawana Grover was appointed yesterday as the interim superintendent by the Cedar Rapids School Board starting Monday, April 3rd.
Dr. Grover was originally supposed to take over on July 1st, but the current superintendent, Art Sathoff, resigned.
Dr. Grover will take on the role of interim superintendent until her contract starts on July 1st.
