(North Liberty, IA) -- The city of North Liberty is planning to build a $16 million dollar entertainment and gathering place.
The project for Centennial Park is called "Building North Liberty's Next Stage." The venue is expected to be used for community events, concerts, weddings, business gatherings, outdoor movies, craft fairs, festivals, and more.
The money for the project is from public and private funds such as community giving. North Liberty is asking for community support for $1 million. The city has been investing in the area for about a decade.
