(Clinton, IA) -- Clinton County is suing the city of Clinton over debt.
According to the suit, the city of Clinton hasn't paid off the debt from the Lincoln Way Railport construction project in 2010.
The suit says the city of Clinton agreed to pay back $6 million over 10 years, but so far has paid less than $800,000.
Clinton County financed $6 million of the $10.8 million project while the city put in $4 million from a 1995 bond issue.
