Nebraska Corrections says 27-year old Arius Thomas is missing from the Community Corrections Center - Omaha.
They say they received a tamper notification for the electronic monitoring system of Thomas.
Corrections says Thomas started a five to twelve years sentence out of Douglas County in November, 2019.
The conviction was for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
He is scheduled for a parole hearing this month.
Anyone with information is asked to call local law enforcement or the Nebraska State Patrol.
