(Undated) -- Burn bans are popping up across Iowa as most of the state is at an elevated risk for wildfires due to hot, dry, and windy conditions.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety and State Fire Marshall has issued 14 bans until further notice as of Wednesday.
Most of the bans are in the southwest and eastern parts of the state.
Counties included in the burn ban are:

- Floyd
- Guthrie
- Hardin
- Jackson
- Jasper
- Linn
- Montgomery
- Muscatine
- Page
- Pottawatomie
- Scott
