(Des Moines, IA) -- Local police and the feds have seized a large amount of street drugs following a car chase, crash and arrest on Des Moines' south side on Tuesday.
Federal agents and local cops tracked and then chased a suspect through the area after a failed traffic stop.
The suspect finally crashed his gold-colored SUV near Park and Glover Avenues.
There were no injuries reported, but officers say the amount of street drugs seized should make a dent in the local drug market, at least for a while.
The Des Moines Police Department and Iowa State Patrol both assisted in the case.
