(Des Moines, IA) -- Registration is open for the Des Moines Police Department's free flag football camp for children.
Children in 1st through 6th grade are eligible to sign up, though space is limited. The camp's first practice will be Thursday, April 20th and continue each Thursday through May 25th. The practices will be held at the Pioneer Columbus Community Center from 4:30pm-6pm and will focus on the fundamentals of flag football.
Parents can register their children by either calling the DMPD Police Activities League at (515)237-1391 or emailing dmpdyouth@dmgov.org.
