(Cedar Falls, IA) -- The Cedar Falls Police Department is asking Des Moines residents for help identifying the suspect in a burglary and assault case.
The man is accused of entering a home through an unlocked window in the 1900 block of College Street around 3 a.m. on April 10. Police say he assaulted the homeowner, then fled with items from the residence.
Police say they obtained video footage matching the man’s description from a separate resident. They say the suspect also appeared on city cameras in the neighborhood.
Police say the man has possible ties to the Des Moines area.
