(Davenport, IA) -- The city of Davenport is looking for volunteers for an Earth Day cleanup event on Saturday.
The event will be held Saturday, April 22nd from 8am-noon at Duck Creek Park. Volunteers will help remove spring invasive plants during the event. The city recommends volunteers wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Volunteers will be provided with gloves and tools.
The city says volunteers will meet at Duck Creek Shelter # 1 across from the playground, and while the event is open to all ages, children are required to have adult supervision.
