(Des Moines, IA) -- Downtown Des Moines workers are being invited out to lunch this spring. The Greater Des Moines Partnership's "Out to Lunch" series runs from mid-May to late June. The events featuring local food trucks and music move to several locations around downtown. The first will be at the Principal Financial Group campus on May 15th. The events are free and open to the public.
The 2023 Out to Lunch location schedule is as follows:
- May 17: Principal, High Street from Seventh – Ninth
- May 24: City of Des Moines, 401 Robert D. Ray Road
- May 31: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, 12th Street from Grand to Locust
- June 7: Federal Home Loan Bank, FHLB parking lot
- June 14: Tippie College of Business | University of Iowa 12th Street from Grand to Locust
- June 21: Knapp Properties & The Weitz Company parking lot – off Fourth Street between Park Street and Watson Powell Jr. Way
- June 28: Nationwide, 12th Street from Grand to Locust
