(Davenport, IA) -- It's going to be several days before the Mississippi River is expected to crest in the Quad Cities.
Anthony Heddlesten, U-S Army Corps of Engineers says "Over the weekend and early next week, assuming we don't get any additional rainfall, we should be seeing the crest here in the Quad Cities."
He says it's likely to be just shy of 22-feet, the record set in 2019.
Residents are reminded to stay prepared as flood risks increase.
