(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha continues to have one of the lowest homicide rates of large U.S. cities. WalletHub says Omaha is averaging .41 homicides per 100,000 people, the 4th-lowest number in the country. Omaha's homicide rate is also down from this time last year. Lincoln's homicide rate is 1.04 per 100,000 people, up from this time last year but still 8th-lowest. WalletHub says the city with the highest homicide rate is Memphis, Tennessee, while Scottsdale, Arizona and Sacramento, California are tied for the lowest. A full list of cities is available here.
