(Des Moines, IA) -- New security rules mean it'll be much harder for Iowa high schoolers to drive themselves or their friends to Adventureland in Altoona after school or during the summer.
A new policy for admission to the park says after 4 p.m. anyone 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult, aged 21 or older with a valid photo ID.
In its announcement, Adventureland said it's a move aimed at ensuring safety at the park.
They're also continuing to disallow pets and they're sticking to the one bag limit for visitors in the coming season as well.
