(Omaha, NE) -- University of Nebraska Medical Center has its first ever mascot... The Labs. The mascot was unveiled on campus this morning at Pups and Popsicles, a De-Stress Week event. The logo is a Labrador Retriever wearing a lab coat and goggles. UNMC students decided on the mascot after considering almost 50 suggestions. Lab apparel and merchandise will be sent to the UNMC Bookstore in the future.
