(Grimes, IA) -- The city of Grimes Public Works Department is announcing dates for free tire and yard waste drop-offs.
Residents can drop off old tires and yard waste from May 15th through the 21st at the Public Works building at 1700 SE Destination Drive. Drop-offs are free during the following times:
- Monday-Friday, May 15th-19th: 7am-3pm
- Saturday, May 20th: 8am-5pm
- Sunday, May 21st: 1pm-5pm
The city says tires from tractors, bicycles, lawnmowers, and golf carts will not be accepted.
