(Lincoln, NE) -- Investigators say the victim of a deadly stabbing in Lincoln was the suspect's stepfather. They say 59-year-old Mark Kruger was stabbed to death with a steak knife at a house near 63rd and Baldwin around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. That's just across the street from Lincoln Northeast High School. His step-son, 40-year-old Joseph Kruger, is now charged with second-degree murder. Police say their family was gathered at the house when the stabbing happened but it's unclear what led up to the stabbing.
