(Louisa County, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a crash in eastern Iowa that left three dead and two more injured.
The State Patrol says the crash happened yesterday on Highway 92 in Louisa County when one of the cars involved attempted to pass a semi and hit another car traveling in the opposite direction.
Police are not yet releasing the names of the three killed.
Two other victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
