(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Police Department will host a community picnic next week.
The event will run from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, May 18th at the Ankeny Police Headquarters located at 411 SW Ordnance Road. Members of the community will have the chance to meet officers from the Ankeny Police Department, tour police headquarters, view the department's 1964 police car, and see a life-flight helicopter land in front of police headquarters, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
