Council Bluffs Police look for a person in connection with an assault.
Investigators say a woman was assaulted by 55-year old Jeff Smith, a Council Bluffs resident.
She tells police Smith held her against her will, stabbed her in the hand with a knife, choked her, and threatened to kill her.
The offender fled the scene before officers arrived.
C.B. Police say warrants are being applied for against the offender: Willful Injury, Kidnapping 1st, Harassment 1st, and Domestic Abuse Assault - Strangulation w/ Bodily Injury.
