(Omaha, NE) -- New life is breathed into the vacant lot where Omaha's Civic Auditorium once stood.
On Thursday, real estate development firm White Lotus Group announced plans to develop the 9-acres site, that they're calling Civic Square. One of the biggest components for the plan includes a grocery store, something downtown Omaha has lacked in recent years. White Lotus says Civic Square’s plans also include market rate apartments, townhomes, affordable apartments, commercial office space, a fitness center, and a mix of retail, restaurants, services, healthcare and civic uses.
