Title 42 is a public health order that was put in place by the Trump administration in March 2020 to allow the rapid expulsion of migrants at the US-Mexico border. The order was justified on the grounds that it was necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Biden Administration is allowing it to expire today.
As I did my radio show this morning, I was watching migrants line up at the border awaiting the end of the policy. I'd love to believe that everyone is crossing the border with good intent, but that just isn't true. We're watching a real-time security threat to the United States.
