(Grimes, IA) -- City leaders in Grimes and representatives from the Fire Department are continuing to meet with the architect and construction manager to develop plans for a new fire station.
The city says it is providing input to the construction manager on how the new fire station will best be able to meet the needs of the fast-growing community. Construction documents are expected to be developed over the next few months, with construction expected to begin next year and be completed in 2025.
