(Des Moines, IA) -- Scattered severe storms are possible Saturday in the Des Moines region, and a portion of Northern, Central, and Eastern Iowa.
The main threats are large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes according to the National Weather Service.
Heavy rain is also possible, and may cause flooding.
