(Colona, IL) -- Four cats have been found with bullet wounds in a Colona trailer park in the last week.
Each died from their injuries.
The Quad Cities Animal Recovery Team says it's rare to get a call about an animal shot, and unheard of to happen four times in one week.
Police are investigating the series of shootings.
They say some of the bullets were from pellet guns.
