(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A woman is hospitalized following an early morning apartment fire in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids Police say smoke was coming from the apartment building around four this morning.
Police officers went inside where they found and rescued a woman unconscious in a smoke-filled apartment.
Firefighters arrived soon after to put out the flames.
They say no one else was injured, but the hospitalized woman is displaced.
