(Benton County, IA) -- The eastern Iowa woman accused of killing her stepmom is asking the venue for her upcoming trial to be changed.
Samantha Bevans is facing first-degree murder charges for the death of her stepmom, Jodie Bevans, in July last year.
Her lawyers argue that coverage of the case is creating bias.
Bevans' boyfriend was also charged with first-degree murder and was found guilty last month.
