(Davenport, IA) -- 4th Street is remaining closed near the site of this weekend's partial building collapse in Davenport. The city says the building at 324 Main Street will be demolished today. Nine people have been rescued since the six-story building in Davenport partially collapsed Sunday. Davenport Mayor Mike Matson says K-9 search units left the scene Monday afternoon after working through the night looking for survivors. Now CASI and the American Red Cross are helping provide shelter for those without a place to stay. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has also issued a disaster proclamation in Scott County so state resources can be used to help with the response.
