(Davenport, IA) -- Some residents are protesting the demolition of a partially collapsed apartment building in Davenport.
The city plans to take down the building with a press conference at 11 this morning to discuss the demolition.
Protesters say their goal is to postpone demolition until all people have been located and all pets that can be safely removed have been.
The owner of the property was served a demolition order on Monday following the partial collapse of the building on Sunday.
