It's been a dry month of May, but the Meteorologists at the Omaha/ Valley Office of the National Weather Service say chances for showers and storms will continue through the end of the week.
"It's just a small chance, but it's a chance at least every day," forecaster Katie Gross tells KFAB Radio News. "Some locations might get some heavy downpours occasionally, but several places could stay dry through the week."
A few storms could be strong to severe this afternoon and evening, mainly along and east of the Missouri River.
Temperatures will remain well above normal, in the mid 80s to low 90s.
