(Bondurant, IA) -- Central Iowans can replace their old gas can for a new safer-model this Saturday in Bondurant.
The exchange is in honor of Christopher Allsup, who died in a gas container explosion in 2013.
The event is from 8 a.m.to 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Metro Hazardous Waste Drop-Off in Bondurant.
The boy's family formed the Legacy of Christopher Allsup Foundation to educate about the dangers of outdated, portable gas containers.
