The 2023 Nebraska Legislature wraps up today.
With their work winding down, State Senators gave unanimous, final approval to a bill allowing Nebraska motorcyclists over the age of 21 to ride without a helmet as long as a safety course is taken.
The bill goes to Governor Jim Pillen's desk, and he's expected to sign it.
The change in the helmet law would take effect January 1st.
