DES MOINES, Iowa -- Another mostly dry week across the state of Iowa sees a rebound in drought conditions.
This week's National Drought Monitor map shows nearly 93 percent of Iowa in drought or near-drought, up from 57 percent last week.
There are new areas of moderate and severe drought this week in Southern and Southeast Iowa, and new are of moderate drought in Northeast Iowa.
A small area of extreme drought in Western Iowa is largely unchanged.
This week's map doesn't take into account any rain that fell after Tuesday.
