(Ankeny, IA) -- Des Moines Area Community College has an enrollment informational event Tuesday.
Prospective students can learn about admissions, financial aid, and programs of study.
Shelli Allen, of DMACC says they have nine pathways that are big blocks of courses that students can look at and figure out things that are related to one another and make a choice based on that.
DMACC advisors will be on hand to talk about transferring credits to four-year schools.
Allen says "if a student comes to us, they are able to transfer those credits to the other four-year schools in the state and most of the time, schools outside of the state as well."
The enrollment event will be at all of DMACC's campuses.
A second one will be July 12th.
Allen says enrollment is expected to be up about 10-percent this fall.
