(Des Moines, IA) -- Registration is now open for the Des Moines Police Department's "Fishing with the Fuzz" event.
The free event will be held on Saturday, June 10th from 10am-1pm for children ages 5-15 at Easter Lake on Des Moines' south side.. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the event will take place rain or shine. Fishing poles and bait will be provided, and free hot dogs will be available as well. Registration is limited to 150 children. Those registered should report to 2830 Easter Lake Drive, Shelter #2 on the day of the event.
