(Grimes, IA) -- Boy Scout Troop 44 will perform a flag retirement ceremony next week in Grimes.
The city of Grimes says those wanting to participate need to drop their flags off at the drop box behind the johnston fire department located at 6373 Merle Hay Road or bring their flags to the event. The ceremony is scheduled for 8pm on Wednesday, June 14th at 7pm at the Grimes Public Works Department, located at 1700 SE Destination Drive.
The ceremony is free and open to the public.
