(Des Moines, IA) -- Local investigators are still working to discover how flames erupted at a church in Des Moines late Monday, causing extensive damage.
Fire crews were called to the Perfecting Holiness Temple along 13th Street around 3 p.m.
Smoke could be seen pouring from the roof of the structure.
Once flames were brought under control, Des Moines fire officials brought in an arson investigator, but that is not confirmed to be the cause of the blaze.
There were no injuries reported.
