The astronomical start of Summer is Wednesday, and the Summer heat is settling in just as Omaha hosts the College World Series, of course, a typical occurrence.
The meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service office in Valley say pack the sunscreen and drink plenty of water if you plan on being outside this week.
They say It's staying hot into the weekend and most likely dry for much of the area through Friday.
