(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Developers say the $100 million 1st Avenue project near downtown Cedar Rapids is ahead of schedule.
The plan includes bringing in restaurants, retail, a new hotel, apartments, and more with some opening as soon as this fall.
Crews expect construction on surrounding streets to I-380 to be complete by 2028.
The city hopes the new developments will bring economic benefits and draw more tourism to the area.
