(Iowa City, IA) -- A University of Iowa residence hall is now listed for sale on Realtor.com. Mayflower, built in 1968, is listed at $45 (M) million. The University has plans to build a new dorm on the side of campus. Other projects include remodeling Hillcrest and Burge residence halls. It's expected that Mayflower could at the end of the spring 2024 semester.
An online article in (IowaNow) states Mayflower, on North Dubuque Street, is the least-requested residence hall because of its distance from campus. It also reportedly has a higher rate of students moving out than other residence halls.
