Iowa Crop Conditions Slip

(Des Moines, IA) -- Dry conditions are blamed for another slip in the condition of Iowa's corn crop, which is rated 56% good-to-excellent.

The Soybean crop has dropped to 48% good-to-excellent.

Iowa Ag Secretary Mike Naig says a shift in the weather over the weekend brought beneficial rain across much of Iowa.

He says there are better chances of rain after several weeks of dry conditions.
